Despite the absence of actual gardens, Lady Jane Franklin, wife of an early Governor of Tasmania, coined the name in admiration of the abundant wildflowers. With its striking rock formations and the signature Bay of Fires colour palette (orange, blue, and white), The Gardens perfectly captures the area's unique beauty.
Sloop Lagoon and Sloop Reef

Just above the high tide mark near Sloop Reef Camping ground, the Mermaid Pool awaits. A popular spot among locals, this pool is approximately 3 meters deep and crystal clear – ideal for a dip or a snorkel.
Seaton Cove forms a U-shaped, east-facing expanse, spanning 100 meters in width and 250 meters in depth. It is embraced by sloping granite rocks and lush headlands rich with vegetation.
