Pet-Friendly Guidelines
Please note: The Park is located adjacent to Little Penguin (Eudyptula minor) habitats, and therefore strict rules apply to protect penguins.
We're excited to welcome your furry friends! Here are some guidelines to ensure everyone has a great stay:
- Please let us know about your pet when you book. We’ll confirm their stay to make sure everyone is comfortable.
- There's a $25 cleaning fee for pets staying in cabins.
- You can bring up to two pets per site or cabin, let us know if you’d like to bring more – we’re happy to discuss special arrangements.
- Pets should be on a lead whenever they’re outside and should be well-behaved to ensure a peaceful environment for everyone.
- Pets must be kept inside after dark for the safety of nearby Little Penguin habitats.
- To keep our park clean, please pick up and dispose of any droppings immediately.
- While pets are welcome in many areas, they are not allowed in communal spaces like the amenities, or camp kitchen. The exception is registered assistance dogs.
- As a pet owner, you’re responsible for your pet’s behavior and any impact they may have during your stay.
- Pets should never be left unattended. Please take them with you whenever you head out.
- Remember to follow local council laws and regulations as well as our park rules.
- Offences are taken seriously and penalties apply from Tasmania Parks & Wildlife Service.
We look forward to meeting you and your pets!
