Park Information

Check-out time - Sites and cabins: 10am

Reception opening times -

  • Summer Office Hours: 8:30am-6pm weekdays and 9am-5pm weekends.
  • Winter Office Hours: 9am-5pm daily.
  • There is a mobile number on our reception door for any after-hours emergencies.

Wifi - Access the wifi using SCP-HOTSPOT and enter the passcode on your map. In times of poor weather and high usage, access may be affected.

Cabin Cooking facilities - Our cabins have a range of cooking options for your convenience. Please wash, dry and put away all dishes, pots etc. prior to departure.

Cabin extras - Welcome supplies of tea, coffee, sugar and milk are provided. Should you require more supplies, these can be purchased at the local IGA supermarket. Should you require additional toilet paper, rubbish bags or detergent, please ask at reception.

Camp kitchen - The camp kitchen includes ovens, microwaves and cook tops, along with basic cooking equipment. Please wash and clean after yourself for other guests. Please note that any personal items including food left in the camp kitchen are left at your own risk. There is a TV and heater in the camp kitchen, making it the perfect spot to watch a movie on a cold night.

BBQ - Free electric BBQs are available outside the camp kitchen.

Games Room - Play ping pong, air hockey, and other games. Bring your $1 coins.

Fire Pits - Please enquire at Reception.

Rubbish - Please empty all rubbish prior to leaving into the various large bins found around the park. The Local council does not separate recycling and therefore, one bin is suitable for all items. Please keep fish and seafood scraps separate and place in the marked bins.

TVs - All main TVs are smart TVs. Use your own streaming service logins. Reception has a range of DVD’s available for loan. Your TV needs to be on AV to work with the DVD player.

Cooling & Heating - The aircon remote is located on the wall or with the TV remotes. Please do not set the temperature below 18 degrees as this will freeze the system, taking hours to defrost. Modes - the snowflake is for cooling, and the sun is for heating.

Bunks - Work Law Health and Safety states “Children under the age of 9 years are not permitted to use the top bunk; children must not play on top bunk”

Noise - We ask that you respect other guests and keep noise to a minimum between 9pm and 9am.

Amenities - Use the code on the map to access the amenities.

Family Bathroom - located in the Laundry. Please obtain a key from reception.

Laundry - The laundry is in the main amenities building. Washing powder, coin change and pegs are available from reception. Clothes lines are available adjacent to the laundry.

Dump Point - is located near Site 7. See the map.

Visitors - are welcome, however please advise reception on arrival. Visitor parking is available outside the entrance.

Supermarket: located next door, groceries, ice, bait and gas are available. They serve takeaway foods including fish & chips, burgers and pizzas. The closest Woolworths is in Smithton, 20min drive.

Fuel: a prepay diesel and unleaded fuel pump is located outside the supermarket.

Children's playground: located just outside the Park, near the beach, on the wharf side.

Dogs - We welcome dogs to the park. Please note: The Park is located adjacent to Little Penguin (Eudyptula minor) habitats, and therefore strict rules apply to protect penguins.

  • Pets must not be left unattended in the Park.
  • Dogs/ Pets must be on a leash at all times.
  • Dogs/ Pets must be kept inside after dark due to the nearby Little Penguin habitats.
  • Please do not take dogs to the foreshore at night to view the penguins.
  • Dogs are permitted in certain 'dog friendly' cabins only.
  • Dogs are not permitted inside of other cabins or any facilities (with the exception of registered Guide Dogs).
