Just over an hour’s drive from BIG4 Ulverstone, Trowunna Wildlife Sanctuary is a must-visit for animal lovers and families alike.

Located in the beautiful Mole Creek region, Trowunna is home to some of Tasmania’s most iconic creatures—including the famous Tasmanian Devil. This privately-owned sanctuary has been caring for native wildlife since 1979 and offers visitors the rare chance to get up close with wombats, devils, kangaroos, quolls and more in a natural bushland setting.

🐾 Daily interactive tours give you a behind-the-scenes look at how the sanctuary rehabilitates injured animals and contributes to vital conservation work.
