We’re giving away 1 free night to 1500 lucky Tasmanians – that's 500 nights per park across our 3 locations. We know times are tough, but everyone deserves a break. This is your chance to enjoy Tasmania for less, while making a real impact on those doing it tough.
Enjoy a well-deserved holiday, and a free night on us over the next 7 months. Stay for a minimum of 2 nights, and the 1st night is free*.
We pledge to donate 50% of what you pay for your 2nd and consecutive nights to charity. More nights = More Giving

KEY DATES
-Entries are open from 10:00am on Monday 14th April. Final entries accepted at 5:00pm Monday 19th May 2025. These are Tasmanian times.
-Winners will be announced every day for 30 days from Monday 28th April - Tuesday 27th May 2025. Winners will be announced on facefook and our website.
-Booking stay dates are between 1st May and 30th November 2025 with black-out periods of the June and November long weekends. Yes you can book during the July and September-October school holidays!
-All bookings MUST BE made online before 5:00pm on Monday 30th June 2025. The Promo Code will expire at this time, sorry there’s no exceptions to this.
ENTRANTS
-Entrants must be Tasmanian Residents, and over the age of 18 years at the time of entry. ID will be requested on arrival.
-In order to enter, the entrant must be the person planning to stay with us. They must complete the competition form by registering their first name, last name, email address, mobile phone number, age range, family or couple, home address and postcode.
-Entrants will be asked their preference of a site or a cabin stay. This cannot be changed after entry.
-Entry for all 3 Parks is only online via the form on this page, see link above. No entries are accepted in Parks.
-Entries can be made only once per park.
-All entries must have a unique email address. Ie you cannot enter more than once PER PARK with your name and email address combination. Should we receive 2 or more entries with the same name and email address, the entries will be removed from the list.
-Entries that are found to have been derived from another person and / or not in the name of the person planning to stay will be considered invalid and, if awarded a prize, that prize will be revoked.
-By participating and entering the Tassie Getaway Giveback promotion, you agree to the terms and conditions.
-By entering, you agree for your email address to be added to our mailing list for future promotional emails.
WINNERS
-1500 free nights will be given away in total across our 3 parks (500 per park). This includes 360 cabin room nights and 1140 site nights.
-1500 Winners will be announced on Facebook and website across 30 days from Monday 28th April - Tuesday 27th May 2025.
-All winners are drawn randomly and advised by email. The winning entrants list is final and no negotiations or correspondence with entrants will be entered into.
-360 cabin nights will be given away, 12 cabin nights per day.
-1140 sites nights will be given away, 38 site nights per day.
-Each non-winning entry will remain on the list until the end of the promotion. Entrants only need to enter once.
-An entrant can only win once per park. Winners names will be removed from each park’s daily draw.
-The full allocation of winners per day may be less than stipulated above if the required number of entrants are not received per stay category of sites or cabins.
-Cabin and site nights are subject to availability. If your preferred dates are unavailable, please chose other dates within the booking stay period. Limits may be placed on busy weekends, so it's best to book early to avoid disappointment.
-Winners are required to stay 2 nights, with 1 night being offered for free*.
-Winners are welcome to stay more than 2 nights at discounted prices, extend the stay and enjoy the GETAWAY. There is a 7-month booking window. Booking stay dates are between 1st May and 30th November 2025 with black-out periods of the June and November long weekends, so you can plan ahead and make the most of it. Yes you can book during the July and September-October school holidays!
BOOKINGS
-*The ‘free night’ is charged at 1 cent due to booking system requirements.
-2nd and consecutive night’s stay must be paid in full at time of booking.
-Winners need to book online using a promo code. We will not accept phone bookings.
-Winners will be announced on Tassie Getaway Parks Facebook page daily, and listed on this website page.
-There may be 2 entrants with the same name ie John Smith. The winning John Smith entry will have the correct corresponding email address. Wait to receive your Winners email confirmation or email us at sthelens@tassiegetawayparks.com.au if you’re unsure.
-Winners will be notified by email and issued with a Promo Code to book their stay online only.
-The night can only be redeemed at the stay type (cabin or site) specified on the Winner’s email.
-An online bookings must be made with the same name and email address as the winning entry.
-Only 1 booking is permitted per winning promo code. All bookings received will be checked against our winner’s data base. If the name and email address, and park selected do not correspond with the winner’s list, or multiple bookings are received, the booking/s will be cancelled, and additional payments refunded with a $50 cancellation fee per booking and credit card processing fees deducted.
-Winner bookings are not transferable to another person. The winner must book and stay with us.
-Bookings made cannot be cancelled and refunded. Cancellations, credit notes or dates changes are not permitted.
-If for any reason the winner does not book the free night by 30th June, then the prize will be forfeited.
-Winning nights are not transferable, refundable or redeemable for cash or credit at a later time.
-It is a condition of accepting a prize that the winner must comply with all the conditions of this promotion.
-If the winner does not reply to emails, is uncontactable or does not make a booking prior to 30th June, that entrant will forfeit the free night prize and no correspondence will be entered into. The Parks will not be liable for a winner who does not respond to email attempts and does not make a booking by the final date required.
-To make your booking please check out our websites and choose your GETAWAY Park. For example, cabin winners can choose from a beach front cabin in Stanley to a Glamping Tent in St Helens!

WINNERS 2nd CHANCE DRAW
-All Winners will go into the draw to win a $300 stay voucher to use at any of our 3 Holiday Parks when they share a post with their GETAWAY pictures on their social media and use ALL OF the following 3 hashtags #tassiegetawaygiveback #tassiegetawayparks and the park name they stayed in #big4sthelens, #big4ulverstone or #big4stanley.
-Posts and pictures must be shared by 30th November 2025. The prize will be drawn at 5pm on 30th November and the winner is contacted by email.
-Only posts with all 3 correct hashtags will be entered into the draw.
-The $300 stay voucher will be valid for 2 years at one of our Holiday Parks.
